Barefoot Bay has three community pools but my favorite is what is called pool 2. I love the people who go there, I think we are a very friendly group. When I first started going to pool 2 I met a lady named Gloria. Well, Gloria came up to me right away and introduced herself and then to others that she knew. She made me feel so good with her warm welcome. Gloria is no longer with us and I miss her very much as do many who knew her. Now, I try to do the same for new people who come to the pool so they feel part of the group and welcome. If it's not too crowded I introduce myself to everyone who comes into the pool and then introduce them to the others that I know. We are like family and it has become a very important part of my life to swim at Pool 2. Here are just a FEW shots of the people who are in and around the pool. There are many that I don't know because the winter months bring many visitors that I don't get to meet. |

| Moira is our Irish friend born in England! Adorable English accent and a joy to be around. She is holding her new little companion here, Rosy, who is a 3.5 lb Yorkie and just adorable. Many of our visitors are getting ready to leave Sunny Florida for their summer homes. They will be missed but we all look forward to seeing them all again next year. Marianne, most everyone knows Marianne, she exercises everyday and has the most beautiful smile you just can't miss seeing her. Well, her and her husband Harry, will be leaving tomorrow (3/28/03) to go back to NJ. They will be back here in June, I look forward to seeing her then. More to come for this page. Keep up with what your friends are doing and what's happening at your favorite pool. Pictures will change and I plan to have all the pool hosts pictures up as soon as I can get them taken. Many of us are waiting now for the night time hours to start. There are several of us that enjoy swimming after the evening meal when the pool stays open until 7:45 pm. Bye for now...
