Today was just another beautiful day. You can always tell by the picture of the beautiful water. Looking around at everyone today, I felt slightly sad as everyone that was there expect for 2 people will be gone soon. They will all be missed. Hopefully, you will check in here. I have added at the bottom of EVERY "Pool Side" page a link to "FORUM FOR MESSAGES" so you all can post messages for your family, friends or whoever. Talk about anything, share recipes if you wish or "Sound Off" as the Tattler calls it! Check it out and keep the pool 2 spirit up all the while you are away.

That's it for today...
Bye for now...

I was there today and found it COOL. The water temperature was still 82 but I guess the air temperature was lower so it felt cooler. So many getting ready to leave. I am really going to miss all these people that I have met this year and looking forward to there return. Conversation for me today was focused on Plumbers and Electricians! We have a problem at our house and it was utmost on my mind. Les helped me out with one issue so I decided to go home and wait for a call. Maybe tomorrow I can be more focused on my exercise. Beth and Rocky arrived as I was leaving. Nice couple and I enjoy swimming with them. Rocky I don't usually recognize without his sunglasses LOL LOL (4/30/03)

I think this is a great picture of them both. They are year round residents here in the Bay. (4/30/03)

On the left we have Helen, she is leaving us tomorrow. This is a different view without her bathing cap. In the middle we have Alice from Wisconsin and on the right is Virginia from Dallas. (4/30/03)

Now, Virginia and Alice are sisters visiting another sister here, Sylvia (not pictured) Sylvia and David were there swimming and enjoying the family together.(4/30/03)

Today was shocking day so I couldn't get there until 11 am. The pool had some water put in to bring it up to the proper level and of course that put the temperature down slightly. Temperature was only 82 and it was cloudy so it felt COLD. When I got in they told me KEEP MOVING LOL LOL.....you had to in order to keep warm. All I could think of was Beverly, she does NOT like it cold but, she wasn't there. I had a neat conversation with someone today about several HISTORY topic on the BAY. She has lived here for 36 years and is just full of HISTORY information that fascinates me. I have approached her to consider writing a column for me for this site on the "History of Barefoot Bay". She will get back to me. I think it would be real interesting especially after hearing some of her stories.

Was great to see Beth and Rocky again, haven't seen them in a long time. They were coming when I was leaving so I didn't get to swim and talk with them today but I will another time.
