Well, it has been awhile since I have put anything up here! I have missed everyone at the pool and looking forward to getting back to my swimming. Just been under the weather a little bit but am doing better now. I do have company coming today and will be here until Tuesday so I may not be putting anything up again until Wed. Maybe we will get to the pool during her stay. The Captain's daughter is coming down from Virginia and is looking forward to some sunshine, they have had tons of rain up there! Wouldn't you know it, we are in our rainy season and the usual afternoon thunderstorms are in full swing! Even if I had been well enough I still wouldn't have been able to get to the pool due to the weather. I think I will have to go back to going in the morning again. See you all soon...... That's it for today... Bye for now... Donna pool 2 6/07/03 |
 | Introducing Glory, like in Glory Hallelujah! LOL LOL that's what she told me. Makes it easy to remember. Bet she has been called Gloria a lot! Glory is new to the Bay, moved here in Dec. and lives with the Indians....Introduce yourself she is a real pleasant lady. (6-09-03) | |
Another one I had not met before he calls himself Jersey John....plays the keyboard locally and quite outgoing. As you can probably guess he is originally from NJ! (6-09-03) | Here's Nancy, she is originally from NJ and is a permanent resident of the Bay now. Very pleasant to talk to. (6-09-03) | Nancy with her more serious look. (grin). I just met Nancy today for the first time guess going mornings is where all the new people are! (6-09-03) |

| Met Linda! Linda is visiting here from CT. Taking her mother home with her. Her mother has been a LONG time resident here, over 20 years. Many of you probably already know her mother Ruth. One day I hope to get to met her. Linda and her mother are leaving soon, think she said Wed. (6-09-03) | |
I'm sure most of you know Marianne, she is the bubbly one who comes to do her laps and exercise every morning. She visits us from NJ several times a year and NOT just the winter months. (6-09-03) | Marianne tells us that NJ has had nothing but rain so she is really appreciating our sunshine. We are having our share of rain but not an all day thing around here. (6-09-03) | You all our familiar with this face around the Bay but today she hides it LOL LOL....you don't have to look perfect to come to the pool and here's your proof! Sylvia was on her way to a Red Hat Society Luncheon and wanting to look her best. (6-09-03) |
Today I brought company with me to the pool! The Captain's daughter Susan came with me. She is visiting here from Virginia where there has also been so much rain they are water logged! She enjoyed the sunshine but as fair as she is wasn't able to stay long in it. You will see her pictured on the next page. I wasn't able to get one at the pool, (she doesn't like her picture taken) so I go one at home with her dad. She'll always pose with him (grin). Have to say it was a beautiful day and I sure did enjoy it as I haven't been to the pool in a very long time. Water temperature was 84 and just as pleasant as could be. I had started to swim in the evening hours but we are in our regular summer thunderstorm pattern and it seems that every evening they start just before it's time for me to go. Now, I figure if I swim in the morning hours and it thunders later I will have gotten my exercise in and if it doesn't thunder I can swim twice in the same day and that sure won't make me unhappy!. That's it for today... Bye for now... Donna pool 2 6/09/03 |
