Now, these two ladies I have been waiting for! I so much wanted to get their pictures. They are regulars at pool two and local artists. Helen and Lorraine and they are wearing homemade hats, made from plastic bags you get at the store. Now, isn't that great. Lovely ladies and just a pleasure to be around. (6-10-03)

On the left are Ruth and Jay visiting here for two weeks from Long Island. They are friends with Walter and Sandy who also come to pool two. Real nice couple, introduce yourselves or they will be gone!

Now, on the right is Susan, my husband's daughter (The Captain we call him). Susan was visiting us from VA and with me at the pool for two days enjoying our sunshine. She doesn't have any in VA. yet!

Was a bit cloudy today and threatening a storm early. The water temperature was 83 so the water was beautiful. The sun was HOT and one could burn very easily today so you had to keep the sunscreen on for sure. You can't let those clouds fool you. Early this morning, (opening time) I was on my way to Melbourne for an appointment when I drove by the pool and saw TONS of cars! I wondered what was going on so when I got home I called to find out why it was so mobbed!  Seems as though pool one was being shocked and pool 3 had a pump that broke so they were all at pool two. I said I was going to wait until some of them left before I would go over. The pool was at capacity just before I called and Elaine said that 3 people just got out so I could come over if I wanted to. I said NO THANK YOU....I waited until just about 12:30, called again and it was back to normal so I went over.

Many our missing our snowbirds and hoping some of them are not drowning in all the rain we hear about up north! We are all thinking about you and hoping the rain stops soon.

Never did get any storms today!

Don't forget about the FORUM folks you can post messages to anyone who can answer you there too...even just a hello would be great.

That's it for today...
Bye for now...

Tonight was beautiful, the water temperature was 90 degrees and again my joints just love that warmth. Not everybody like it that warm but I sure do. I was a beautiful evening and  only a few of us to enjoy it but we laughed and had a good time. Barbara's knee surgery has been postponed so we will have to wait and see what happens now. She has to have a stress test done on Monday as they have found a heart murmur they need to check out. Keep her in your prayers. Moira, can now lift her arms over her head once again after 6 weeks of waiting since her pacemaker was put in. Oh, these golden years are just so rusty for some of us....(grin). Take Gordon, he has had 5 hip replacements and they won't give him anymore hips!!!! We all get by no matter what and enjoy our swim times together. Below are some regular swimmer that haven't been in awhile so I was happy to get their pictures, if you haven't met them be sure to introduce yourself. (6-14-03)

John & Allison, just fun to be with. Haven't seen them in awhile so it was great to have them there tonight.

Just met John & Bea the other evening and wanted to get their picture up. Here they are enjoying a pleasant evening at pool two! (6-15-03)

Here's Bea without her glasses so you can recognize her either way. Real nice couple and a pleasure to chat with. (6-15-03)

I arrived very early this evening, around 4:45 pm, planned to close the pool but just didn't have enough energy to stay that long! Left around 6:45pm. The water temperature was 89 degrees, it was pretty cloudy until almost 6pm when the sun decided to come out. Not very many at the pool tonight they must have all been celebrating Father's Day. The few that were there enjoyed it, was practically a private pool tonight!

That's it for today...
Bye for now...
