| | | | | | | | | Well, it's been some time since I have been to the pool. I see my last date on here was 8 days ago! I was there this morning around 10:30, the water temperature was 81 and it was cloudy. We have been having rain almost everyday and many places in Florida are flooding. Fortunately, not in the Bay, there is a lot of wet places but no flooding that I know of. Not many at the pool this morning but a handful of us and it was nice. Sure felt good to me after a hospital stay. The first question I had for my doctor was "when can I go swimming" LOL LOL...he appreciates that I love to go to the pool so Monday (today) was the day and I was there. Thanks to all for the thoughts, prayers and phone calls it sure meant a lot to me. Now, back to some serious picture taking and some fun in the sun...... Just a reminder that we have a "Brag Page" here and you don't have to have pictures, send me a paragraph or a couple of sentence on something or someone you want to brag about. Your sure going to get sick of me bragging pretty soon. Be sure to check it out today I have a big brag on there today LOL LOL.... That's it for today...

6/23/03 Went to the pool this morning (6-26-03) and it was beautiful. Partly Sunny, water temp was 84 and many there to enjoy the beautiful day. No pictures as yet, one of these days I will have to get some more. Some bad news to report...Peg Bently...many of you know Peg and Walter (page 3) well, Peg is in the hospital, Sebastian River Medical Center. |
| I hear she fell when taking Walter to the Day Care center and crushed her shoulder! She has had surgery on her shoulder and will be going on Tuesday to Cathedral Hall Home where Walter is already staying. Her children are here getting things in order and will be leaving on Tuesday after she is into Cathedral Hall Home. So, please keep Peg and Walter in your thoughts and prayers. On the plus side, no rain for the second day now but, they say this weekend will be back to rain once again. Maybe tomorrow I can get some pictures before we get real wet again. That's it for today...

6/25/03 Well, today (6/27/03) was beautiful. Water temperature was 84 and the sun was shining real bright! I didn't realize how much I missed the sun but, it felt great today. I felt great and it seemed like everybody else was feeling great, very upbeat and happy. I'm sure there is a lot to be said for the sunshine! Well, good news is that Peg will be released TODAY and she will be at the pool (two) around 2 pm! She has done so well she can just go HOME. Her children are taking good care of her and will be here until Tuesday. They will be back and forth but we all know that Peg has lots of friends and will be just fine. Walter on the other hand will be staying at the home. That's all I have on that for today but will try to keep everybody updated when I know something. Margaret (pool host) will be giving Peg a card today that pool two friends have signed for her.. |

Met Sandy today, she moved here from Pompano Beach, FL and has been here over 2 years! Today was the first time I met her and very pleasant lady. Don't forget to introduce yourself. (6-27-03)

Here's Sandy again without her glasses so if she doesn't have them on you will still know who she is. I am a great one for not recognizing people if they take their glasses off or even change a hat! (6-27-03)
