| Well, since I haven't been updating the site everyday, I forget dates and such. One day last week or maybe the beginning of this week, I was swimming when Margaret our pool host says "guess who's coming up the walk" lo and behold it is Barbara G. we call her Barbara Bush...she had been in the hospital for a knee replacement and then into rehab and now she's walking up the walk. She was with another one of her son's, Bill, who was here from Seattle. I didn't get a picture of Bill as I didn't have my camera that night (frown). I really like to have it with me every night and wouldn't you know it, the night I forget it I miss out on a great picture. Nothing better than a mother and son picture! Barbara was using a walker but doing just wonderful, she looked great and has the same positive attitude she always has and her big smile. I got out of the pool to talk with her for awhile and met her son. It was just great to see and her and see she was doing so well. She says the doctor told her 5 more weeks before she can come to the pool so we will be missing her for awhile yet. | 
Here's the latest news for the pools! Plus pool 3 will be closed on Aug. 4th until approx. Aug. 18th for maintenance. Then pool 2 will close down for maintenance for one week.
This should solve a lot of problems and make everyone happy! |  | Met Gordon's son Doug. He is here to pick up his mother and father and take them to the west coast where he lives. From there Gordon and Paulie will fly out to Concord, NH for a few weeks. Gordon taught school for years in Concord, NH.
(8-03-03) |  |  | The couple on the right, Donna and Wally, are new here to the Bay and originally from Rochester, NY. Their grandson Tyler with his Mom Janet and Dad Ken are visiting them from Danville, NY. Very pleasant folks and we hope to see them again at pool 2.
(8-03-03) |  |  | If you come to swim at pool two in the evening you will most likely fine these folks there! Kind of regulars, a few are missing...Betty was at the other end of the pool and didn't make it into the picture but she is usually there with us. From right to left front to back: Sylvia, John & Bea, Bob & Melody, Gordon and his son Doug. Now, Doug was the visitor tonight and not usually with us. In the background are the folks from Rochester, NY.
